the skin calipers are the easiest and most useful for most folks 'normal' needs. truth be told the calipers and biometric impedence devices are pretty much garbage.
1. calipers are going to have built in error based on who is doing it, and how consistent they are.
2 for the biometric impedence deal, i have had those things be as much as 8 or more % off. it's told me when i was super lean in the 7% range that i had 2.5 %, which is to say if true, i'd likely be dead. it's also told me when i was superhydrated and ina mass phase that  was morbily obese despite walking around looking pretty jacked and defined.

the calipers for tracking changes might be ok if you have the same person due it each time under the same conditions and using the same spots, so it's not very accurate but it can have decent precision.

the most reliable (and least convenient) method is hydrostatic measurements. you have to use it is the only way to really account for volume and density of tissue differences and hydration status.

We have a BodPod at work.

You get weighed very precisely, take off most of your clothes except for some tight spandex gym clothes, and sit in a giant life sized Easter egg.  By pressurizing the egg they precisely measure your body's volume and determine your body fat percentage.  It's similar to the old hydro tank test but much less invasive.

I started at 30% body fat and after diet and exercise got down to 22%.

I have no idea what mine is, but it is a damned sight less than it was this time last year.

About $3000 if you go to a doctor, but a lot of work places do it free, like mine.

15-20% I would guess.  I read you can't know for sure unless you do the dip test like someone mentioned above.  I don't think I need to be that accurate.

Playing high school sports, I'm at like 10. My best friend has like 4, which is crazy low. He took state as a sophomore in track last year.

Black people don't need 5% body fat, they make up for it in other areas.

weight/height BMI, 26.3 last time I was weighed by the nurse.  But I've gained 15 lb since October, probably more 28.3 again.  **** going to the gym 4xweek does't compare in calorie burn to riding a bicycle 70 miles/week like my summer hobby.
When I was 70 lb less graduating from high school, I couldn't get dates at all.

189 lb Monday last week, 188 Thursday. I was 173 in October.
**** I tripped and fell over a pipe at the back steps this evening, I can't even lay down to sleep.  No more gym exercises until this heals.  I can't even extend my arm to piano playing position with the other arm.  This might be the end of piano for a year or more.   24 hours will tell,it will either heal by itself or I tore something.  @!@#$$%
I've already got a torn rotator cuff on the left shoulder, that I have to do rubber tube exercises with to keep the pain down when sleeping on it.  That one I was helping someone move, and not even jerking on stuff, just steady even pressure- rip!  I think it was a box of DVD's, maybe 60 lb.
