Good technic books in french
on: December 31, 2004, 02:45:59 AM
Hi everybody!
I'd like to know if there are any good piano books written or translated in french. I can read english easily, but since french is my first language, it would be nice for me to have a book I would understand fully and easily. In english you have C. C. Chang's book , Fink and Sandor are also two books which seem to be praised by everyone. So any books of the same kind in french would be great. Can anyone help? Maybe in France you have those kind of books, but here in Québec, they are hard to find, if not impossible...  ???
Thanks
Sebastien

You may want to try to get "L'homme et le piano" by Monique Deschaussées.
It is very good, easy to understand, mais pas nécessairement pour les débutants...

Cortot wrote a lot of stuff... but once again, pas pour débutants.
A lot from Gieseking/Leimer was translated in french.

There is Loyonet, but I would not recommend it.

There is a lot of stuff in french.

Hi !

I just found today:

"Lettre à un jeune pianiste" from Jean Fassina (Edition Fayard)

I do not know if it is a good book but at least the intro sounds interesting... I might get it soon !

Cheers,
Drooxy
