This is a lovely set of known often ignored pieces. Sensitive and expressive playing anf the images on video are nice
 Sorry theres few replies for this,  but even sorry-er for those that didnt listen to this  set, they missed out. Thanks for sharing

Well thanks!! and yes, it is a very underrated work IMHO, and MacDowell an underrated composer. I have never felt that the recordings of the "Woodland Sketches" that I have heard go far enough to convey the imagery and story of these pieces, so I included my interpretation in my Cd album I put together in 2012 which I entitled "Voices of the Woods." It's a collection of program music related to the subject. In terms of people listening, it IS a bit long especially with the historical background and commentary I provide. However it has gained enough views and likes on my You Tube channel for big corporations such as Honda and HP to advertise on the video. and the Voices of the Woods CD has had a huge amount of digital and hard copy sales world wide, so it id being appreciated which is my goal (as well as the royalties!)
