on: April 19, 2016, 04:37:17 AM
Just a bunch of random pieces you probably didn't know about. ;D
Let's begin with Samuel Barber.

Souvenirs Op.28 is one of my favorite sets, especially the Pas de Deux

Of course the Ballade must make this list.

Moving on to Copland

A Saint-Saens Piano Piece!

Oh, and I also like Poulenc

Here are some Liszt

Moszowski, The Etude Guy:

Godowsky, The Chopin Copycat:www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0nlJXooIVc
Czerny,Another Etude Guy:

I will try to post some more pieces later.
Beethoven Op 2/2
Chopin Op 20, maybe op 47/38
Debussy Etude 7
Grieg Op 16
Want to do:
Chopin Concerti 1 and 2
Beethoven Waldstein

Hi chopinawesome,

thanks for sharing these pieces. :)
And yes, you were quite right that I didn't know any of them. :P

I really enjoyed the Saint-Saens Op. 70, the Poulenc Pastorale, and the Souvenirs Op. 28.

Looking forward to more of your posts.

This was a very interesting piece. At first, I wasn't sure if I would like it, but I really liked how it developed. Then I listened to it 3 more times, and I find that I rather enjoy this piece now. Thanks for sharing more music!

Speaking of Barber, I'd like to add his Piano Concerto to the list

In particular that second movement really got me

His piano sonata is cool too
I am trying to become Franz Liszt. Trying. And failing.
