J'suis canadien, moi.

Anyway, (excuse mon franglais) -- nice to see a quebecois on board... :-) Salut!

We got rid of most of them a little while back, but I guess there are some left....

The thing with french is they always have to do everything differently....like...

Oeuf means egg
Maison means house
Toilette means bathroom

It's like they have a different word for everything.......

bonjour,
 je parle francais (langue maternelle) neerlandais (=dutch,  2eme langue maternelle :) ) et anglais (langue universelle, evidemment);

i lived in france for 10 years; my parents divorced and i went back to belgium

the reason why there are not a lot of  "francophones" is because inhabitants of small countries (like belgium) are used to be forced to speak other languages :)
french and americans are a little bit more "chauvin", si je puis dire...

zijn er hier trouwens  ook nederlandstaligen???

that's strange ; it's exactly what we think about the americans and british people (espetially)

That's an old Steve Martin joke. Guess it flew buy everybody.

Figured I could put it out there since I am half French, but maybe not.

my theory is that the purpose of the intial question was dual-pronged and double-pronged as well, the first prong struck with lightning fast speed but the second prong waited for exactly the right moment...

but it's probably that he just wanted to suvey the existence of french speakers that specifically frequent the performance board rather than the general french speaking population at all the forums.

Robert.
