Board exam-ABRSM,Trinity,AMEB,Giuldhall,Yamaha,SKPE

Dear all,
Do u know these boards?Could u give some information?What r these? What r these different syllabus?

What do u think about sing by fix Do,re,mi.. or sing by move Do,re,mi...? Do u teach Solfege?

I'm trying to teach ear traning for my students in right way.
Please disscuss some information.

Don't know too much about all of them but I've taken all of the ABRSM exams.  They are the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of music.  You can go to www.abrsm.org and they have all kinds of information on the syllabus and exams, etc.  There are 8 levels of practical exams and theory exams and then advanced diplomas you can take.

Might be worth checking if there's a more popular exam board here in the states though.  I grew up in the UK so took all of those there, haven't hard too much about it in the states.
