hi can anyone suggest me three songs for trinity grade 8 piano

I wanna jump that nazi train and tell you they're pieces not songs

2nd it's advised to be a balanced program I'm going for the Grieg nocturne the Chopin waltz and Haydn sonata, for me the sonata is the best of a bad bunch in classical \ baroque as I'm personally not a fan.

Some nice alternatives to the others however is the field nocturne, the ravel sonatina or even the kaski piece is quite nice.

If you don't like the Haydn you have the beach or Mozart piece really do make it balanced but as I said I am not keen

What about Mendelssohn's Songs without words ? Are these songs ?

is a vocalise for piano and voice but no text just melody sung , is that a song ie medtner, villa lobos, etc., always wondered because it is and is not no?
