W.Hoffmann P126
on: June 11, 2016, 08:05:59 AM
I wonder if somebody had a close look at or even played the W.Hoffmann P126 upright. It fits my budget and I’m very tempted to order it.
Any advice will be much appreciated.

those are impressive looking pianos, just under fifty inches putting it in the upper range of modern upright pianos and in a serious category of instruments. saw new ones listed at nearly 10 k. euros. if that is your budget, depending on the market where you live, you might have quite a few options if you care to shop carefully and patiently. have only very briefly tried Bechstein instruments and have no idea what they're producing with the w.hoffmann factory and brand. am very partial to used instruments myself because the budget tends to go farther and the instruments get their character revealed with use. congratulations and buona fortuna with the new piano.
