Need help with repertoire
on: July 01, 2016, 11:21:07 PM
I have 3 years before i start applying for music conservatory, the conservatory i am going to apply for requires me to play the following.
An etude of the applicant’s own choice
A polyphonic work by J. S. Bach. E.g.: A Prelude and Fugue from Das Wohltemperierte Klavier
One fast and one slow movement from a sonata from the Classical period
A Romantic work or a work from the 20th century
Any suggestion. For romantic i think i want to play chopin's nocturne op55 no.1. But can somebody suggest pieces for the other categories. Not mainstream please.
