Small range pieces?
on: July 24, 2016, 06:45:53 PM
Hi there, people!

I bought a 3 octave polyphonic synth recently, so I can practice my jazz excercises when I'm on vacations. But I also want to learn some academical pieces, and the ones that I know have a much wider range. Can you guys recall some piece for me to learn?  (it has to span less than 3 octaves at once. I can shift octaves if needed)
Thanks in advance!

Renaissance and baroque keyboard music.  Lots of things to dig into.  You can look at manuals only organ music as well.  If you have keyboard split on your synth, you can do some creative things with registration.

The Bach chorales would likely work.

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
