crowd source funding done right - Bailey Michelle Collins
on: July 26, 2016, 05:08:14 PM
this is cool and inspiring, I like it when talented kids get a shot and find a way to make it happen.
I for one am more of a fan of the play recitals, take donations, work side gigs, take a summer job mowing lawns, etc.but this is the way things are going these days i suppose...
This young lady recently participated at NSEU MPF&A, here she plays Kapustin op 41, which is pretty impressive, considering she's right out of high school. It's not the most sensitive playing of this out there (definative version I reserve for a now unavailable previous upload of Yeol Eum Son on a Koran TV show), but this piece is not usually so successfully navigated by kids so young *(relatively speaking of course). She has enough oopmh to make it convincing.
but she got selected to go to this a 2nd time and found a way to do it. Pretty cool. Atta girl! and she did good by getting donors complimentary memberships and tickets.
