....I noticed something strange.

The guy was playing chopin's Nocturne 20 and he was trilling with his left hand! what?

My have come to the conclusion that the images are mirrored for ......um..some reason.

I would be able to confirm this if only I could make out the writing on the piano to see if it's written backwards,

Heres a pic:

The image is mirrored.  Look at the last keys on the keyboard, set of three black keys and then the C key.

A left handed piano in an abandoned house in a devastated village in the middle of the war? Now that's what I call luck.  ;D

Ludwig - Jews also do have some sense of humor (most of us anyway... I think...).  ;)

Oh good,  :)         I had a bad feeling that it wouldn't have been 'Got' and it would lead to a banning.

I have been banned from other forums for less,  blast my English ironic humour.:)

um, that's not from the abandoned house.
that scene is from the radio station when he plays the nocturno...and yes, it's mirrored because the black keys are not arranged as 3-2-3... but 2-3-2 starting from the left to the right....as we all know :)
And I doubt it that left hand pianos could be used in a film.I mean, most of the greatest pianist play, played on "normal" pianos...
And in the "abandoned house in a devastated village" he plays the ballade in g-minor...
How can he be playing in a devastated house in the middle of the war wearing a fancy suit?
Oh come on.

Is that the scene where he plays the nocturne, or is it the scene where he plays the Ballade?

I liked it.
It's not about the pianist "per-say"..., but I like it.

Piano Street Magazine:
Women and the Chopin Competition: Breaking Barriers in Classical Music

The piano, a sleek monument of polished wood and ivory keys, holds a curious, often paradoxical, position in music history, especially for women. While offering a crucial outlet for female expression in societies where opportunities were often limited, it also became a stage for complex gender dynamics, sometimes subtle, sometimes stark. From drawing-room whispers in the 19th century to the thunderous applause of today’s concert halls, the story of women and the piano is a narrative woven with threads of remarkable progress and stubbornly persistent challenges.
