Hi, I'm a new member and this is my first post.  I've stumbled on this site numerous times and I'm pretty sure my students are running around here on the boards somewhere.  8)

I write about piano music and record my performances to be shared on my blog.  I am hoping some pianists here find my latest post helpful. It is guide on how to create better piano recordings.  My intentions are not to promote a product or even myself, but to help pianists get better sounding recordings.  Often times the quality of playing is lost in the distortion of bad recording techniques or equipment.

Hi,

I was just in Seattle! It's a fun place.

Getting back to the topic, I needed, desperately needed a recorder, because I can't just go recording on my Voice Memo.  :'(

I'll try this and share how it goes, thanks for letting me know!

Natsu

Please let me know if you try it out.   It might seem complicated before you dive in, but it really doesn't take long to produce great sounding recordings.  Basically it's just: Digital audio recorder -> Audacity -> Replace camcorder audio. Simple.
