I'm impressed with how much of Rachmaninoff's style (both pianistic and orchestral) you've assimilated in writing your "mini-concerto" and with the "natural" phrasing and execution of the piano writing, especially in the faster sections. It seems "Noteperformer" lives up to its claims!

Are you planning to expand your material into a full-length Rhapsody? Have you any interest in cultivating your own style of composition (or perhaps you have done so, elsewhere)?

Making allowances for the relatively synthetic sound of some of the instruments, it was easy to imagine the piece played by a symphony orchestra/virtuoso piano soloist.

Congratulations and keep at it.

Thank you for your comment ! I appreciate it.
I love Rachmaninoff's style of writing but I would never try to imitate or copy his compositions, although I find my style very close to rachmaninoff's.

The Rhapsody is only in its beginning. I plan to write at least 12 variations and expand the rhapsody. I will gradually post the remaining variations on the forum.

I am still an amateur composer and I have never really taken any formal composition course. Perhaps when I'll complete harmony and composition courses, I will find my own style ...

Have a great day  :)
