Alpha studio piano:Is it just a vaporware?
on: September 24, 2016, 01:51:17 AM
I've concluded that a midi controller/digital piano with a good grand action(e.g Avantgrand) in
my
room will be better than having a small piano like c3 with silent system installed. I was settled with Avantgrand n2 for a few days, but then I found out about the Alpha studio piano, a Bosendorfer concert action in a size of console piano! I would gladly pay 29000 euros if it means having a bosendorfer imperial 290 in my room!(I live in NZ, so shipping would be tough, though).
The Alpha studio piano was released in 2012, but there's still no news about it, is it just a vaporware? I think it's a great piano, and its action can easily beat the Avantgrand's action based on C1 baby grand. It would be a huge disappointment if it was just a huge bluff. Anyone know the release date of alpha studio? Or is there any other DPs with a legitimate concert grand action?

Thanks for the information, dogperson. The dealer's website looks awesome! It contains lots of information regarding the piano! I speak a very little German, but I think the website is quite incomplete because you can't order one through the website, it's just a mock! There's an option that says "stand" and there isn't an option! Meaning that you can never add it to cart. I hope they will fix their website by next year.
