Opus 740 is one of my favorite books of works not just for its pedagogical and technique-refining values, but mostly for its musicality and quirkiness that czerny really exhibits into this set. He is highly influenced by chopin in this opus, but still remains very charming in its author's touch and very fun to work on personally.
One of my favorites is no 4 and is just great as a standalone performance piece as well wherein you can really work up the drama in the last page of the etude. I love going back to this one to keep mainitanence of my ability to articulate thirds (not running) for a melody line in weak fingers.
I also enjoy no 28 and 14 these are reminiscent of the revolutionary etude in a quirky way and are great to help me in keeping prowess in arpeggio runs.
Im also working on the forgot the number but is called extension of right hand w quietness or something like that it is great for right hand strength and flexibility
Actually most of the pieces are great and are very fun to listen to you can hear the whole set on YouTube which is performed by a group of pianists in two sets.
