Best second hand digital piano models for around £150
on: October 11, 2016, 06:19:06 PM
Hi,

I was just wondering what good second hand digital piano models there are around the £150 mark? I know it's not a lot but it's all I can spare and it's important that it can be removed from the stand to be stored easily. I don't know very much about digital piano's and the technology behind them so if anyone could let me know what the best models are around this price range then I would really appreciate it!!

Thanks in advance,
Rory

Look for a Yamaha P-80 or P-120.

I like Yamaha DPs, and those in particular.  In fact, I still use a P-80, and it's just fine.  The P-120 has better electric piano sounds, but I have my own Rhodes and Wurlitzer EP, so aside from a brief period of owning a Motif Rack for the EP sounds, it doesn't bother me.

Heavy-ish action, dark piano sound.  Probably very cheap if you can find one or a newer Yammie.
My name is Nellie, and I take pride in helping protect the children of my community through active leadership roles in my local church and in the Boy Scouts of America.  Bad word make me sad.
