I am self-learning and preparing for a fellowship exam (of which the syllabus suggests a candidate to go for specialisation).  I am likely go for a Bach programme:
Bach : Partita No 6 in E minor, BWV830
Bach-Busoni : Chaconne
Bach-d'Albert : Passacaglia

The exam also require programme notes and viva voce (i.e. Q&A), which I suspect will be on baroque (music history, style, forms, etc.), Bach (life, works, etc.) and transcriptions.

Grateful if you can recommend me some good reference materials for my preparation.  Many thanks!
