Wild's Rach recording
on: January 10, 2005, 12:41:53 PM
I just bought a recording of Earl Wild's performance of Rach 2, Schubert-Tausig's Marche Militaire, Weber-Tausig's Invitation to the Dance, and Rach's Isle of the Dead. I can't seem to find the year of the recording, after all the typing of the manual and back cover is messed up. This is the first ever recording of pure classical performance by a well-known pianist sold in my city. I am shocked but excited nevertheless....
Can anyone share info?
