The Beethoven Action Figure!
on: January 10, 2005, 04:49:25 PM
Got one for Christmas.  I find it hilarious.

They even have a little cut out paper piano you can print out for your action figure!

Cute!  I see they have Mozart and Wagner now (and Jesus too :o

(woops:  corrected by typo - Wagner not Wanger, although the latter would probably be a better action figure name). :P

Alexander the Great, Oscar Wilde, and the Male Nurse, with Freud observing.  Wagner could play, too, but only if he didn't insist on getting ALL the attention! ;D

I wonder where I can get  life-size Hammel and Sanchez dolls. ;)

(No. I didn't say that!)

I was in a toy store today that had some of these action figures.

Even cooler - they had Mozart and Beethoven wind-up stuffies.  Beethoven played Moonlight sonata and Mozart played -  yup - Eine Kleine Nacht Music. Cute, cute, cute!!

LOL!!!  I can send you pictures you can cut out if you want! ;-)

Anda, you can buy one off their store. They are very funny! I was pondering on a different thread the possibility of having the Jesus action figure lying on a couch whilst being psychoanalyzed by the Freud action figure...

AthyK, what are stuffies?  Any chance you can find a link to them?  Sounds so cheesy I want one!

Elena, drats, I googled it and can't find them anywhere.  Stuffies are like stuffed animals but these, of course are peeples.  Next time I'm in Brunswick, I'll pop into that place again and try to get the skinny on them.

Gee, it doesn't come with a chamber pot. My son has done resports on Beethhoven every year in school and he was fascinated with that detail (figured heavily in Report # 1) - that Beethoven's studio was always decorated among other things, with "an overflowing chamberpot") .

(Other bits of Beethoven trivia  - he loved macaroni and cheese and used to make himself coffee always using the exact same number of beans per cup  - uh, 68? I Forget).

I am imagining them nodding away on your music stand during a performance...  ;D
