Intense and skitterish but still consonant.  I liked it.
First time I've heard this.  Something WFMT-FM service will not broadcast.

Great job! Hm...your piano has a louder key action sound than most. Did you record it in a small room?

I'd say hearing the action is merely an artifact of the close microphone.
If the piano was on stage and I was in row four I'd never hear the action.  That arrangement puts the piano above your head, the action noise goes up and the sound comes down through the sound board to the audience.  There is often a reason behind traditions.

I agree ;) But there is also the point of space managment and light :) I prefer to play like this and get the sun on the keys/score than play with the lights on.. Maybe at some point i will put the grand in my living room.. at present it is not possible :)

Take Your Seat! Trifonov Plays Brahms in Berlin

“He has everything and more – tenderness and also the demonic element. I never heard anything like that,” as Martha Argerich once said of Daniil Trifonov. To celebrate the end of the year, the star pianist performs Johannes Brahms’s monumental Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Philharmoniker and Kirill Petrenko on December 31. Piano Street’s members are invited to watch the livestream. Read more
