Unable to use formatting, emoticons etc...

I'm using the latest version of Firefox and I'm unable to change formatting using the buttons, or insert smilies, or use any of the features when typing a reply.

No matter what I click, nothing happens. I can't insert a picture, no hyperlinks and sometimes can't even get it to insert quotes from other users.

This also happens with Google Chrome... although Google Chrome will allow me to use them if I allow the scripts to be used. I don't know how to enable that in Firefox though...

Same problem for me.  Smilies are very important.  I had to type ; and ) to get a wink.

Which version of Firefox?  I have the same problem, it would seem... but I have very high security set, and all scripts turned off, so that may be the problem.

The Javascripts are void, according to my computer.

The website is currently being moved over to https (for increased security) and some javascript files were temprorarily blocked. The crucial smiley feature should now work normally again.
