on: April 03, 2017, 11:12:43 AM
Hey! I need to study 5 most technically demanding prelude and fugues from the WTC. Can you tell me which of the 5 are the hardest both technically and musically?

Define - hardest
Reference - what is the performance standard
Clarify - 5 preludes and 5 fugues or 5 "preludes and fugues"
Timeline - shorter time to learn = more difficult
Answer - it depends on your strengths, weaknesses, experience and/or lack of with the style, composer, and the type of piece
Instruction- access to coaching,  howgood is the coaching...

Smh....

You will receive different answers from all--- based on personal strengths and weaknesses, just as Visitor indicated.  Why not do a little research yourself and look at the Henle ratings?
