L’Après-midi d’un faune for piano?
on: January 13, 2005, 09:39:18 PM
The american pianist George Copeland, who went to Paris to study with Debussy, wrote an arrangement of L’Après-midi d’un faune for solo piano. This arrangement was also endorsed by Debussy himself.
I have been interested in this arrangement, because the Faun is such a magnificent piece of music. Does any of you know anything about how it is? After searching the internet I found recordings of the piece where Copeland plays himself. Do you know if the score is published? Or have you listened to this recording?
