I am currently involved in research in troubleshooting and tips for any areas of playing or performance that have caused you difficulty - or still do.  I would appreciate your thoughts and ideas on how you have overcome them or managed them.  Thank you in advance.

Why don't you, since you are involved in research, show us a list of what you have already compiled as being problems that face musicians in playing or performance? You might get more response rather than asking us to spoon feed you random ideas.

i found recording myself and then seeing where i had/have difficulty helps. then the best most effective thing i found, over and over again, is find a good teacher and bring them up as areas I identified in myself as struggling with, then i also record the lessons so i can review aspects of it when i work the issue out on my own in practice. best darn thing i have ever done and continues to be the most effective thing i do to get better.
