A Jazz Piano Christmas 2025 – But not at the Kennedy Center

For more than three decades, “A Jazz Piano Christmas” at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. has been a quiet highlight of the holiday season for jazz and piano lovers. Chopin - Étude Op.10 No.3
on: May 21, 2017, 10:56:42 AM
I was invited to perform at a concert (organised biannually) which took place earlier this month showcasing 5 young classical musicians from across the country. Since this will be one of my last formal appearances before I move away for college, I decided to play two Chopin pieces which have really meant a lot to me, especially this past year: his Étude Op.10 No.3 and his 4th Ballade.

Here's a recording of the Étude from the soundcheck :)

Loved it!

This was one of the first Etudes I had ever heard and inspired my love of Chopin.

Really loved your playing!
