Esquisse (original)

Hi pianists! I recently got back to dabbling in composition, and here is what I came up with. I'm happy with it being a 'sketch' as of now (hence Esquisse, courtesy Alkan  ;D). Maybe later on if inspirations strikes it could expanded into a longer piece. Thanks for listening, and please let me know what you think!

I've listened to your piece and I'm very impressed by both by your talent as a pianist and as a composer. I hope you continue to write music and to share it with us here on Pianostreet.

Oh wow, I didn't expect to get a response so thanks for listening and your kind words! I should have prefaced though that that's not me playing live, the piece was virtually performed by Sibelius and GPO Steinway  ;D (I think with patience and practice I could play it though, as technically it's not that demanding).
