Beethoven

I'm on the persuit to buy the best Beethoven books in print.  While I know that the Urtext is generally considered the best, I still have some questions.

I was wondering if anyone out there knows why the "Ludwig van beethoven  : Klaviersonaten - Band I (Urtext)" book is so expensive.  It is the book published by Henle and edited by Bertha Antonia Wallner.  Is this pleasure truely worth $50, or should I go with one of the more reasonably priced books.

What would you consider to be the best Beethoven anthologies in print?
