[VIDEO] Ravel Prelude in A minor
on: July 26, 2017, 04:40:52 AM

Ravel is a favorite composer of mine and I eventually want to play Gaspard (my favorite piano piece). I'm starting with some of his easier pieces first. Any tips and/or comments on my performance of the prelude or Ravel in general is much appreciated!

I didn't strictly adhere to the tempo and rhythm. I slowed down at the middle cross-hand section and when the theme returns at the end. To me, this kind of rubato works, but any Ravel scholars can let me know what they think :)
