Quentin Kim - Variations on an Ancient Korean Melody
on: August 06, 2017, 12:18:54 AM
i may have posted a version of this a while ago but this is a revised version, one of my favorite pieces to play and beloved by all! haha. the ancient Korean melody in question is called ' Doraji' , and here it is set in a melancholy way. the variations are classical in proportion, but adventurous in harmony, and there is a wide variety of piano texture. it is a total joy to play this piece. there are 12 variations with a free finale, and a quiet, tragic ending. enjoy

Cool piece, very effective. Great playing too (as in the Bach), thanks for posting this.
