What to play next?
on: September 27, 2017, 03:54:51 PM
Hello yall,
I like to play a new song that will impress people, who are not musically literate.
I like rhapsody in blue, liebestraum, clare de lune, por una cabeza, famous nocturne,
famous serenade, basically anything people would recognize.
I have an idea which chopin I want to play next.
But are there others like farandole for instance?
And stuff made for orchestra but adapted for piano like voice of spring, Vienna blood, Vienna woods, Fledermaus.

According to another post it seems like you're writing an e-book and putting piano scores in guitar tabs
Is that correct? It seems like therefore you're looking for pieces that you can put in your e-book to sell or maybe I'm misunderstanding ...... The purpose, the audience and the skill level would be useful information to have in providing the appropriate response

Jazz and Swan Lake Iwas thinking about them but I could not find the right ones sheet music wise.
Fur Elise is just ok for me. Moonlight sonata seems like highly praised after seeing the Surkin performance at the White House, but it seems too long. And Gershwin's I got Rhythm sounds interesting, but now I'm afraid of most anything Gershwin and Liszt. Cliburn was right about not having enough time.

Thank you. I was hoping for really popular, that I might have missed in this information age.
