Ravel Sonatine II. Mouvement de Menuet
on: November 15, 2017, 05:01:04 AM
I started this 4 days ago.

Why am I even uploading this? I've worked on the tombeau de couperin for nearly a year...
Screw all that! I LOVE this piece!

I also adore the piece. Beautifully played and a great start. Are you planning on working on both Mvt 1 and 3 as well? Would love to hear your recording of the entire Sonatine!

Thank you very much! How kind of you to say.
I will definitely learn the 1st movement, but I don't like the 3rd movement at all and it would be a significant time investment due to the length and difficulty :(

Have you worked on the sonatine before?

I've read through it many times. I wouldn't say I've legitimately learned it though, but I revisited many times after finishing another piece. I think all movements are great. The third movement is indeed quite a lot of investment if you want to properly learn it at tempo.
