I can't remember the name of this composer.

A while back I came across a solo piano piece by a late romantic Russian composer. It was his second ballad (can't remember the opus). The style was VERY similar to Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky with a bit of Chopin nuance. It's driving me crazy that I can't remember his name. I think his last name started with a B and sounded something along the line of Borkowitzky (although that sounds more polish to me but I'm certain he is Russian). He seems to be fairly unknown (I think I could only find two performances of his second ballad). Maybe one of you could help me.
Thank you.

One of his best pieces, but the LH is just too much trouble for most anyone to want to learn it, instead of some work by, say, Scriabin or Rachmaninov.
