What am I to say about these almost painfully evocative glimpses into astigmatic worlds ? On the whole, I think the less said the better. Your playing speaks of something much deeper than its musical self. I could allude to Sung painting and what Huxley called “suchness”, as indeed I have done before, but I doubt it is helpful. Such language presupposes existing acquaintance with visionary landscapes of the mind, and hardly anybody stands still for long enough these days to know what they are.
On the practical side, I might profitably learn from your playing that power in music is not necessarily attained through an hour of frenetically symphonic deluge. That observation could serve me well.
Sapphire and Nocturne I found particularly transporting.
