Awesome! It is very brave to play this Sonata in public, and I think you did a very good job. Your technique is near flawless, and I really enjoyed your interpretation. Sometimes I felt like it sounded a little too "perfect" though. What I mean by that is that you sacrificed musicality for speed and a clean sound. In almost any other Liszt piece that would work but unlike many other Liszt pieces, this isn't a showpiece. I don't think you treat it as such at all, but in the fast passages the interpretation doesn't feel as gripping as in the slow passages. Very good job though! You must like Liszt!

I adore Liszt!

Indeed, I will probably pick this piece up again soon, it's been like 3 year heh.

It could certainly use a thicker pedal and a less "pristine" sound in spots....

I'm going to be more active in the coming months....

I think with the competition scene, you are kind of stuck polishing old rep "for the jury" etc.... and staying away from certain AMAZING compositions because your choices might be frowned upon.

I look forward to publishing certain vids just for my youtube.... I'll continue with the comps of course, but certainly devote more time  - and money, to getting some of my favorite rep down on vid and up online 8)

thanks for the support guys! 8)
