Difficulty of Beethoven Piano Sonatas by First Movement Only
on: May 11, 2018, 04:48:10 AM
I have to play the first movement of a Beethoven sonata for an audition. What would the list of Beethoven sonatas by difficulty look like if they were judged on first movement ONLY?

Looking at the listing at
www.pianosyllabus.com
it seems like the two sonatas in Op 49 have the easiest first movements. To check it, search on composer = Beethoven and title = mvt 1.
