Beethoven op 31 no 3 1st movement

I recorded this the same recording session as the Chopin I posted earlier. It isn't perfect, but I hope you enjoy!

bloody excellent
freaking awesome
this is my favorite of all Beethoven sonatas  really clean and just dry enough
only thing I might suggest you reconsider are those pauses at the beginning. but it's just a taste thing your choice rules there but to my ear the felt just a couple hairs too long. I lost an underlying pulse which should be there even in silence
enjoyed this immensely

Thank you! Actually those pauses were the first thing I thought about when I listened to my recording, and I 100% agree with you. On the other hand I think most pianists forget about the fermatas... For me the first measures is the most difficult part of this sonata. It's very hard to balance. Thanks again for the kind words!
