Clavinova CLP 153 or other one?
on: January 20, 2005, 10:01:05 PM
I would like to start to learn playing the piano next month (finally!!). I would prefer buying a grand piano (cause I love the piano sound!) but I donīt have enough space in my flat. So Iīm looking for an electronic one which sounds and feels realistic enough for learning and having (acoustic) fun by playing. And it shouldnīt cost too much, that means around 1000 Euros. I was searching for information in the internet for days, but itīs still difficult to decide. So maybe someone of you can answer the few questions I still have.
Is it important to have a 64 polyphony or is a 32 polyphony enough for someone who just starts playing?
I read about the special real touch of the Yamaha Clavinoas, is that true and how important is this for learning?
I could get a used Clavinova CLP 153 for about 800 Euros. Does anyone know this piano, some of its features and how good it is? Would be the price ok? It was bought 1997, so it is quite old for an electronic piano.
It would be great to get some advice!!!!
