Besaid Island - FFX Piano Collections (Video)

I absolutely LOVE this arrangement of the theme from final fantasy 10. Composed and arranged by Masashi Hamauzu (performed by myself here), this is very much a concert piece in the impressionistic style. This has been a favorite piano piece of mine for years and the coda never ceases to impress me.

a favorite for good reason , it's darn fine piano writing , and you play it exceedingly well.

ig was going to offer any sort of constructive opinion on it for a tad bit of improvement,  would be to play w the piano settings,  there is a sort of reverb or synth echo to that piano sampling,  in some pieces it would sound super fresh like the battle music. but this piece needs a light bouncy bouncy feel so a more natural sounding grand w a super sparkly treble might be something to explore

This was my first ps2 game!!!   Memories. Loved the playing, now i'm going to check out if there are any piano arrangements for that cool guitar piece that plays when you're at Besaid village!

Thank you for the feedback. I actually had the echo (a bit too high) on my audio interface for this video as i was still exploring the settings at the time. i totally agree that this piece is ideal with cleaner acoustics and light echo. Good advice for more recordings in the future
