Lovely, I really like hearing you play Spanish music, I very much enjoyed your Granados Vals Poeticos from before. I am trying to discover some more Spanish composers different to the usual, would you have any recommendations of pieces maybe grade 6/7 ABRSM level? I also really  enjoy the work of the Brazilian composer Ernesto Nazerth, would you know any other similar composers I could explore? I have played a few pieces by Granados so far and Albeniz. I really like the Spanish rhythms and love to hear flamenco when I visit Spain. Bien Hecho, Eres muy talentosa!  ;D

Hi Tinyhands, you gotta listen to the "Cuban Chopin", Ernesto Lecuona, his Spanish Suite is beyond great.
I also love Turina's first piece from Rincones Sevillanos, "Noche De Verano En La Azotea", very mysterious and atmospheric.
Not to be missed also Hallfter's Danza de la Pastora and Danza Gitana.
Hope these match your wishes. Enjoy!

EDIT: excellent performance by Maitea btw!!

agreed to op, excellent sensitive and evocative playing, lot of replay value here, enjoying this immensely.

i second your suggestions , i've heard Lecuona really be called both a Cuban Chopin, but more accurate and less common, a Cuban Albeniz, or Cuban Gershwin.

For a 'Chopin' like comparison that to me really sticks, I look to Ludovic Lamoth, the "Chopin of Haiti', lovely writing, and I'd encourage maitea to explore his works (you can pm me for info on scores, etc).
