A nicely Plaintive tune.. A touch of Mancini, there.
Compositionally, I felt the middle section didn't need to be as 'big' - to make a contrast w the first section, but that is just my taste.. Was there a slight reference to 'To a wild rose' in the transition back?
I thought that your playing was expressive, - and just the right amount of rubato for this piece.

Many thanks for your input. I am writing a character study of my mother who is pleasantly calm but has a streak of mad vitality whenever it wants to appear. She is beautiful and complicated. However I shall bear your comments in mind for future performances.
