A Jazz Piano Christmas 2025 – But not at the Kennedy Center

For more than three decades, “A Jazz Piano Christmas” at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. has been a quiet highlight of the holiday season for jazz and piano lovers. No fixed formulas, no “seasonal jazz” clichés — just strong pianistic voices working with familiar material. This year, the live concert is on pause. Some Beethoven for your enjoyment
on: August 25, 2018, 01:47:59 AM
I just remembered this piece tonight. Oh yeah and I've never uploaded any Beethoven on pianostreet. I don't want feedback on this as I'm not playing it, I just sight-read it and recorded it for us to appreciate Beethoven's genius!
I just love the beautiful left hand part at the beginning.

Op 109 brings a tear to my eye.  One of the most moving moments in all of music is the repeat of this at the end of the sonata after the climax.  Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely. One of his greatest late sonatas :)
