on: January 22, 2005, 07:53:31 PM
Hello evryone im new here. I need some help. I Broght this book about learning to play the piano, i have read about half of it but i didant understand the section on scales (dont laugh) how does it affect the way the music is played etc.

Also in the book that i have it says somthing like play the melody with your left and play the main part of the music with your right, i find it hard to play 2 diffrent things with my hands at the same time. Any advice/tips would be helpfull. btw i am 15.

Ben

Wait until you see eight-voice fugues ;D

Your questions are very fundamental and important, but they are rather complex and would require a lot of time to get answered correctly. If you are interested in the piano and music, I would strongly recommend to get a teacher or bug your music teacher at school. There is just no way to answer your questions without sitting down at a piano in person.

Hope you'll stick around.
