With only 4 weeks to Xmas and compiling my Xmas playlist again for another year thought i’d Share with you Joey Alexander’s version of this beautiful Xmas standard to get you in the mood. The guy was only 13 here, he really is something so special, I get a tear in my eye when I watch him play, he’s like an old soul. Beautiful phrasing and chord progressions , taught himself at 6. I just love him, and check out the size of those hands! Wow. On my playlist is also the wonderful Vince Guaraldi ‘Charlie Brown Christmas album’ of course, I’ve played a few of the pieces but one day I will master playing the full album!
