Handel Keyboard Suite 7
on: January 19, 2019, 06:27:16 PM
My live performance of Handel's Keyboard Suite, HWV 432, divided into 3 parts:

The imposing, ceremonial Overture and weaving, somewhat elusive Andante:

.....followed by the impetuous Allegro and passionate Sarabande:

.....and finally the captivating Gigue and magnificent and most famous Passacaglia:

This last piece, the Passacaglia, has been arranged for other instruments, but in my opinion, it sounds best on the piano.

overall I much prefer the 434 to this one, but that Passacaglia always kicks some serious a*s!! Excellent performance.
