Please listen with ear/head phones. The volume is a bit low.

Comments/criticism welcome.

mp3 is also available below. Might be better quality because of youtube compression.

Hi Hakki,

I commented on Pianoworld, but saw it here as well:
There were many things I really enjoyed in your recording - the freedom in the melody, the singing tone.

What I would try to improve is to find the special spots that truly deserve more time. It's very beautiful in the beginning, but becomes more of a manner, rather than a need. That makes it sound a little bit dragging, in my view.

The second is the color. Now every section has a more or less different colors, but I think you need to change also within section. I don't think "Du meine seele, du meine Herz" should sound the same as "Du meine Welt, in der ich lebe". Not in the sense of rhythm and not in colour.

The third is phrasing. On a few cases, the last note of one phrase sounds the same as the first of the next.
Also the climax is a bit awkward. The passage before really needs to result in this big climax, and probably needs to be felt already a bit before. And the climax probably need a bit more work, as it doesn't feel perfectly thought out. That's the only part where I'm not convinced about your playing.

But generally very beautiful playing!

Thank you pianoman53.

This was quickly recorded for demonstrating my tuning app.

All your feedback is very helpful and I will try to post a better version hopefully.

I have always struggled to maintain clarity when the left hand takes over the theme and the right hand is playing the 6ths. Yours  is as clean as a whistle and this requires touch.
Many play this too fast, but your tempo was spot on for me.
Playing of the highest order.
