Ricardo Castro's Piano Concerto
on: March 08, 2019, 05:29:41 AM
Hello all! I hope I'm not missing any obvious posting rules. I just wanted to ask for your help in obtaining a copy of a piece. If you have never heard of it, Ricardo Castro's piano concerto is a gorgeous piece out of 19th century Mexico that takes stylistic inspiration from Lizst and Chopin. I am anxious to begin to learn this piece, but I'm unable to figure out how to purchase a score. Neither have I been able to obtain this through inter library loan. Any suggestions?

Here is the second (my favorite) movement, for your listening pleasure!

It is long out of print i would have thought.

I do have a copy in my archive and i have no problem with letting you have a pdf as long as i can get permission of the person that donated it.

I like the piece but always thought that perhaps it was let down by the last movement.
