Schubert's Unfinished Sonata
on: March 18, 2019, 11:54:47 AM
Dear all,

Yesterday I had a concert, and decided to film it.
Some of the pieces will be out full on YouTube, others will be posted either as parts or not at all.

This was the first piece I played - the unfinished sonata by Schubert.

Like all live performances, there were some things here and there, but I'm generally happy with this performance. I hope you like it too!

Bravo! Second movement especially was magical.

If you'll allow me some criticism (although you didn't ask for it) - I think tempo changes were too marked and too many in the first movement. For my taste, in an epic movement like that, one needs to be more strict and establish a 'tempo giusto' right from the start.

Still very impressive, I wish you all the best!

Thank you!

I assumed that criticism was always asked for in this forum, so i didn't specify it. But thank you for giving it, it's always appreciated.

Yes, at the time of the concert, it felt very good do I decided to upload it. Now I agree that it's too much. In principle I like it, but it came out too much.
I was happier with the second movement, so I'm happy it sounded better! :)
