Schumann Symphonic Etudes extract

I realized I never posted this! It's again from the concert last week.
It's the last etude before the finale. I play it much slower than the general performance, so it would be interesting to read your opinions about it!

Wow, this is beautiful. If you play it as a separate piece, why not do it like this? As a part of the original variation work, I don't think I would be equally convinced. Also, I think the 'duo' part becomes a bit more difficult to appreciate.

But as a super-emotional encore or something, absolutely!
And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for not playing it this way:

The same pianist also has a 18 minute long recording of the Bach/Busoni chaconne... But of a special cookie, I'd say.
