F. Chopin - Etude Op. 10, No. 1 (Waterfall)
on: April 07, 2019, 10:08:22 AM
Hey everyone - here is my rendition of Chopin's Op. 10, No. 1. As someone who hits a 9th (and barely reach a 10th) - this will always be the most challenging etude of all for me.
This is also my first time doing video editing! The actual audio recording was a 1 take.
I am satisfied with what I got out of the piece musically in 5 weeks. Any feedback or constructive criticism is appreciated. Hope everyone enjoys

Really good effort.
You will, i'm sure probably be aware of little bits that need some tidying, but i think that will just come with practicing the piece as a performance.
Lots of people really struggle with this, so your technique is obviously very good.

Thanks for the kind words. The right hand needs some work where the fingers need to fit between the black keys.
As the for the left hand - many said that I should play it louder even though it was an intentional choice to play it rather softly. I guess my interpretation can't please everybody
